Spring Break 2012

Normally we never go anywhere for Spring Break. But this year we were invited by Kris and Jeff to go to Disneyland with their family. We had an AMAZING time with them. We stayed at the Grand Californinan and it was incredible. It was great being right in the park. At night before California Adventures would close, we would go to Grizzly River Rapids and ride the ride over and over again getting soaking wet. Then we'd go up to our room, change our clothes and go into Disneyland. It was a blast. Staley had a great time with Jake and Brad. He was one of the guys and felt like the biggest boy. He also loved being with his Aunt Kris and Uncle Jeff! We also rode Splash Mountain over and over again. That was our favorite ride on this trip!
Waiting to see Aladdin.  It was fun.  I loved the Asian Aladdin!!

Best buds, Staley and Noah.  The Hafens were out there at the same time.  We were able to spend a little bit of time with them as well.

Fun Times

We took Staley and his friends to see the 3D Star Wars: Episode 1. They were very excited and even wore their costumes! These are also pics from Easter. We spent Easter in Disneyland this year so we did eggs before Easter. Staley and Jimmy had to do their BYU Eggs!

Christmas 2011

Well we had another good Christmas. This one was one of my favorites. I think because Staley finally understands Santa and was soooo excited. He could barely sleep for days and kind of crazy, driving me nuts, but completely excited for Christmas. It was worth it. He had asked for certain things in particular. Such as a computer game called Age of Mythology. Only he calls it Agent Mythology so it took some time for us to figure out what he was talking about. He came home and said, "My teacher is teaching us about mythology and she wants us to buy this game called Agent Mythology." I said to him, "your teacher wants me to buy a computer game for you?" and Staley said, "Well...maybe it was Noah". He showed the most excitement over his BYU Cougar pillow pet which surprised us since he did not ask for it. He got a Cars scooter, a bunch of Wii and DS games, a Darth Vader Transformer and an Optimus Prime transformer as well. It was a fun Christmas and we are always sad to have it come to an end.
Staley's gingerbread house. He really wanted banana chairs as well. Funny kid!

Staley with his new nerf gun that is so big he can barely lift it himself. It shoots tons of bullets really fast. He and Jimmy had way to much fun shooting everyone!

Cole LOVES Cars. He loved his muscle Cars shirt

The kids were dancing a lot that night. They were very excited!! Staley was showing Cole how to breakdance.

Halloween

We spent Halloween with the Hafen's. We went trick-or-treating with them, and ate lots of yummy, fattening, naughty food!!! Jimmy was Wolverine, I was a Candy Corn Witch and Staley was a Jedi Master.
