So, we are potty training Staley. Yippeee!!! It is an interesting process. He pees on the floor and I clean it up. Not fun. He is being really great about it, though. He has his Thomas and Cars underwear and he gets m&m's whenever he potties in the toilet. The other day he told Rachel that he 'went potty'. She asked him, "In the toilet?" and he said, "No! On the floor". yep, that about sums it up. it is starting to click lately so hopefully things will get better soon. Jimmy and I told Staley we would take him to Disneyland if he goes potty in the toilet. (He doesn't know this, but we are going next month). So the other night he was going potty on the toilet and afterward Jimmy asked him, "What do you get now for going potty in the toilet?" and Staley answered with a very enthusiastic, "I'm going to Disneyland!!!" We are strange parents. If anybody has any tips to speed this process along, feel free to comment. Luckily Staley is a great little boy who really is a sweetheart and tries really hard. He's still a 2 year old, but we have to cut him some slack for that. He can't help being 2.
He says everything now. All he does is have conversations with us. He is so funny. He distinguishes his grandparents by their dogs. He has "Grandma and Grandpa Snoop" and "Nana and Papa Scamp". What a kid. Jimmy and I are in awe of him. He has brought so much happiness into our home, it's amazing. We love being parents, even through the potty training phase. We wouldn't change a thing.

I loved the potty training in a day book. It worked for us. I love that about the dogs, so funny!
