WICKED

Jimmy and I were lucky enough to get tickets to see Wicked a year in advance. Finally on May 1st we were able to go and see the show at Capital Theater. We went with my mom, Wendy and Jim, and Kris and Jeff. We went to PF Changs and ate before the show. It was fun to sit and talk with everyone. The show was amazing. Jimmy and I have seen it in LA, and I would have to say the cast was just as good as the LA cast. It really was fantastic. This is a picture of the stage before the show started. It is kind of hard to see, but it is a map of OZ with a really cool dragon at the top of the stage.
During the performance Glinda threw her wand up in the air during the scene where she and Elpheba sing Popular and the wand never came back down. They starting improving and playing it up for about 10 minutes. It was hilarious! I love it when there are little things that go wrong and the actors use it to their advantage. That is the fun of seeing a live stage performance!
