Sad Day
Today was not a great day for us at the Wilson household. We had to put our lab, Chance down. He had cancer in his jaw. It all happened very suddenly. We actually thought he had a bad tooth and took him in to get it pulled out when they told us the real situation. We got Chance 4 years ago from the shelter when we went to get Toby out from running away. Jimmy saw Chance in a cage and pretty much fell for him. It helped that Chance licked his hand and gave him the puppy dog eyes that said, "please take me home!" He was very happy-go-lucky and excited to see anybody who gave him attention. He was a great dog and we will miss him. I think Toby will especially.

Texas Vacation
So, the day after Tori's wedding, Jimmy, Levi, Wendy and I got on a plane and went to Texas for Jimmy's cousin Darrah's wedding. It was quite the adventure. First off, nobody was there to pick us up from the airport so we had a shuttle take us to the hotel. And then we couldn't get a hold of anybody going to the reception (due to those who must not be named staying late on the golf course). so we had a cab take us. First we stopped at Wal-Mart to get Levi a shirt to wear to the reception. We finally made it and were pretty blown away by how beautiful and over the top Darrah's reception was. It was a lot of fun. The DJ was very entertaining. The next day we went to a barbeque at the McFadden's. Troy made some amazing ribs. it was great to visit with the family and eat some good food.
Jimmy then kicked me and Wendy out so he, Troy and Levi could watch the BYU game. Special thanks to the Ogletree family for letting us crash there home to watch the game. Wendy and I were then forced to go shopping! (This was after some family members missed their plane) A very eventful day needless to say.
Due to uncle Jeff missing his plane the day before he made sure we were at the airport 2 1/2 hours early. We did make him stop to see where JFK was shot on the way to the airport. Even though he was a democrat, it was still a very sad tragedy. (Jimmy's comment, not mine).
Next I should mention the minivan we rented. AKA: The Rocket. I always thought that minivans were what annoying mormon women with 15 kids, while talking on their cell phones drove, but after driving in this thing, I am converted! That thing took off like a bat out of hades.

Staley and Jimmy at the Truck Show
Staley and Jimmy had fun checking out the truck show at Thanksgiving Point a few weeks ago. Jimmy's mom Wendy, is a Burningham. Wendy, her hubby Jim and her brothers, Jeff and Gary own Burningham trucking and this is their show truck and chopper. Jimmy helped Jeff restore the yellow 1969 Firebird. This was its first show and it won an award. Staley also played with his cousin Corbin in the Cow Train.
