Staley getting all bundled up to go and play in the snow. We have a little joke, that I get him so bundled up that he can't put his arms down, like the little boy in the movie, The Christmas Story.

Me and Jimmy on our 7 year anniversary on December 27th. We can't believe it has already been seven years. We know that there is such a thing as the seven year itch, and we have had friends who go through it. But fortunately we haven't. We like eachother a little bit. We laugh about it that we hope every year is the 7 year itch for us.

Christmas Morning

We had a great Christmas this year. This was probably my favorite so far. Staley was so much fun. He almost understands what is going on. He loves Santa and his reindeer so much. And he knows that Santa was coming and bringing him presents. Jimmy and I both got him presents and kept it a secret from eachother. So it was fun for both of us to be surprised. Jimmy had his wagon all put together and ready for Staley when he came down the stairs on Christmas morning. He wasn't sure at first, but then got really into it and excited to open presents. He knew right what to do with the presents. He would open presents and make sure to throw away the paper. Eventually he was just opening presents. We had our parents over for breakfast and to open presents. It was so much fun having everybody over to celebrate the season with us. Staley was adorable opening presents. He would get so excited after each one. It was really a wonderful day. I can't wait for next year!

I guess it's best to start at the end of Christmas day. Staley sleeping after a busy day of opening presents

Staley putting all of his presents in his wagon. Grandma Wilson is helping him.

Me and Jimmy on Christmas night. I'm wearing one of the MANY outfits Jimmy gave me

My mom opening her present. The book, The Duchess

Jim looking through his BYU memorabilia book and Wendy opening her twilight t-shirt. Both were from Staley

Staley opening his big dump truck

I got Staley the "shake-n-crash cars". You shake them and then let them go and they crash. It came with a track, but it is 4 feet long. so maybe when we get into a bigger house I'll put the track together. For now Staley will have to make due with crashing the cars into my new floor boards and stairs.

I got this present for Jimmy and Staley. They are transformers that box eachother. Optimus Prime and Megatron. I thought they would have a good time with it.

Staley opening his "choo choo" train. The only present he asked Santa for.

Jimmy's gift to bug was a wagon. It was his favorite gift. Every time he opened a present he would immediately put it in the wagon and then every so often he would stop and pull it around. I was excited for it too.

Vance helping Staley open his present from the Wilson Grandparents. They were laughing the entire time.

Connor and Staley playing a DS game together

Jimmy and his dad looking through the 30 years of pictures that Wendy put together for all of the guys. It is fun to look through it and see Jimmy growing up.

Merry Christmas

Hello everyone,
Wow, what a great year we had. We were blessed to be able to travel to Hawaii, Disneyland in May for Mother's Day and then again in October with my team. Jimmy and I also went to Texas and Vegas. Staley all of the sudden grew into a little boy, but when he sleeps at night, he still looks like my little baby boy. It has been amazing to watch his progression throughout the year. Each month we see huge differences. He is now talking in complete sentences and is excited for Santa. But I think he loves reindeer and snowman the most. He also loves to watch the polar express, because he loves "Choo Choos". Jimmy and I have said that we think 2 years old is the funnest age so far.
I have had the opportunity to grow into my teaching position even more, and am so lucky to have such wonderful kids to work with. (I couldn't do it without you Jay!). I have also been able to get all trained in my appraising certification and am getting ready to take the state test in a few months.
Jimmy has been hard at work with his marketing and real estate investments. He has such a great business mind, and I am really proud of him for what he has accomplished in his investments.
We feel so blessed this year to be acquainted with such wonderful friends and family. We are of course, grateful for the savior and for his sacrifice for us and hope that all of you feel the spirit of the season this Christmas!

Breakfast with Santa

Me and Staley on Santa's lap.

Staley and his Nanna. (my mom)

My mom took us to Thanksgiving point to have breakfast with Santa. It was a lot of fun. We had a really good buffet and there were cute activities for the kids to do, and then of course Santa was there. Now Staley looves santa and his reindeer. But of course as soon we got up to see Santa, he freaked out and wouldn't sit on his lap. Lots of fun...

Thanksgiving

We had Thanksgiving dinner with Jimmy's family this year. It was wild and fun at the same time!

Staley, Ari and Alivia obviously have more stamina then Jimmy

So, although it was a sad day in the Wilson household, Jimmy and Staley still looked cute in their matching shirts.

Staley had fun playing with Madison while we watched the game. (Stacy and Taylor's little girl)

So, Jimmy and I loved the Twilight movie. The first time I saw it, I wasn't quite sure because I was comparing it to the book the entire time. But the 2nd time, I absolutely loved it. They did a good job taking a book that could easily be made into a 4 hour movie and making it only 2 hours. (I would sit through 4 hours. We did with Lord of the Rings for heaven sake!) I'm excited for the next 2 movies to come out. We had a great time with our friends at the midnight showing. Tori, Summer, Aleise, Kris and Jesse went with us. We got a little slap happy at the end. Especially when Edward started to take his shirt off and Summer and Tori were saying, "yeah, baby, take it off!" and during the kissing scene, I look behind me and Jesse had her eyes covered. All of us were thinking, "Bella's in her underwear, Awkward, Awkward!" The best was when Tori asked us why we thought they made Jacob an Indian and not the tall blonde surfer she imagined. We asked her what book was she reading and to stop taking ambien at night before reading! (I love ya Tor!) We noticed lots of different things the 2nd time around, which everyone does. We are going to see it again on Monday with Stacy and Taylor. Yes, we are obsessed, but we don't care.
