HaLLoWeeN

Staley Trick-or-Treated with the Hafens this year. It was so cute! Their neighborhood was so much fun to Trick-or-Treat in. It was like the old days, no Trunk or treating..kids were actually going house to house. Staley and Noah had a great time. It was fun to watch them be cute at people's doors.

The Hafen Family in front of their very scary front yard. They love Halloween! Jay loves to do the Halloween decorating. He does a good job, kind of demented...but it's Halloween right?

Disneyland Ocotober 2009

If your wondering if this is yet another Disneyland post, I'm almost embarrassed to say, why yes it is. We have become quite the Disneyland family. This is our second time this year. We took my ballroom team on tour there and went to Huntington Beach one day and LA the next to go shopping. We had a great time with the Hafens! Staley loves all of their kids, as do we. I'm very grateful that we have such great friends who like to vacation with us and do the same things we do.
Staley did his first stint at shoplifting. He stole a pin at one of the stores of Stitch riding the Matterhorn and throwing a snowball. Funny thing was that is was the perfect pin and something that Jimmy and I would buy for him in the first place.
Staleys favorite rides were the Matterhorn and Pirates. He loved Pirates this year! I took tons of pictures this year so there is a lot to go through, but so worth it in the end. I love looking at the memories and remembering all of the great moments. Jimmy and I have decided that we will be taking a little break from the Happiest Place on Earth. At least a year...I don't think I could go longer than that!

Need I say more?...Jimmy has wanted a picture with this sign for years. Well he finally got it!

Me and Jimmy in front of the waterfalls at California Adventures

In California Adventures, they drained the water at Paradise Pier and are building some laser light show. It is crazy to see construction taking place since they usually hide it so well. So we got a picture of the chaos with my little bit of chaos...Staley

Hidden Mickey's

Staley and Noah entertained us in lines by Kung Fu fighting and dancing.

Jimmy, Staley and I outside of the Haunted Mansion which is turned into the Nightmare Before Christmas for the Holidays.

Jimmy likes to spin us out of control on the Tea Cups

Staley and Jimmy showing off how tough they are by trying to pull the sword from the stone.

Staley loooves Carousels, so he was upset when he didn't get the horse he wanted, so he cried the whole ride. It was pretty funny, actually. I got him to laugh in the end..

Jimmy goofing off at The Blue Bayou Restaurant in New Orleans Square. Go there and order the Monte Cristo. It is deep fried ham and cheese with powdered sugar sprinkled on top. Very Naughty!!

Noah was done at the end of the firework show which was a cool disney villain halloween firework show. Very cool!

We decided to go to the Lilo and Stitch character breakfast...mostly for the banana french toast!

Staley cuddling with Stitch

The kids were all starting to get wild at this point.

We did our annual Mickey's Trick-or-Treat party at California Adventures. Jimmy dressed up as Jack Skellington, I was Snow White and Staley was a Cowboy and the horse. As he was walking through the park, people kept commenting on how cute he looked in his costume. Of course, I'm biased, but I thought he was the cutest!

Staley and Noah passed out after a fun time Trick-or-Treating

On the weekend we went to the beach to get a break from Disneyland. It was a beautiful day. The temperature was perfect, we had a great picnic on the beach and everyone had fun. It was a great relaxing day.

This is how Staley ended his fun beach day. (The book is mine, by the way...)

Jimmy, Staley and I wearing our BYU gear!

My 2009 Team posing in front of the Pier at Huntington Beach. We had a sand castle building contest, boys against girls. Jimmy and Amy and random people who were watching them at the beach helped Judge. The girls won. The boys celebrated by demolishing their castle by jumping on it.

My Ballroom girls' sand castle. It was so cute, they did a Disneyland theme

This was after Staley took an accidental dunk under water. It shocked him a little. Before this he and Noah were having so much fun running through the water and playing in the sand. It was so much fun to watch them have such a good time.
