Summer Fun

We had a party for the Ballroom Team at my parent's pool. It was hilarious, and by hilarious I mean wild! We swam a ton and ate a ton. Lots of fun!

Indiana Jones made an appearance this summer. Staley likes to sing the theme song while he gets ready in his Indi gear and yes, we did buy him a whip. Kind of regretting that one....

Staley and the boys. Jimmy took Staley and Vance on a ride on the RZR up the mountain by our house.

Summer Time

My little swimmer. By the way, he is in the deep end:)

Staley's first time at a BYU practice

Staley fell asleep while playing XBox. His thumb was still moving while he was sleeping.

Breakdance Class
Staley started Breakdance class this summer at the studio. He is a total natural and the class clown. He loves it, and we love watching him.

The Unexpected Oregon Trip

On July 5th we received the horrible news that Jimmy's Uncle Randy and Aunt Brenda had been killed in a motorcycle accident in Libby Montana. So we all flew to Oregon for a few days for the funeral. On the way to the hotel on our last night, we went to see some water falls which were beautiful.

The Little Fishies
Staley and Noah wore their water wings for a total of 5 minutes this summer. After that they were unstoppable. They both had a blast and became awesome little swimmers. One day they played literally for 8 hours with a Nemo fish, a small net and "turkey" a toy bird. Then as the summer progressed they became a little more destructive with the water noodles, and then the diving began! Staley named his dive the "Papa Dive". It is amazing!

4th of July

Well this is the first year you could buy the fireworks that shoot into the sky and boy were we taken off guard. The first one that shot off all of the kids including the adults made a run for it toward the house. Rachel lit all of the fireworks, Staley had a melt down, but all of the kids got to pick a firework so all was well!

The Wheat Barrells
Grandpa Jim brought over 7 barrells of wheat he bought when he got home from his mission over 30 years ago. We are storing them in our house. Staley was very excited to help with the process of moving the wheat into new barrells. Notice his gloves in one of the pictures.

Core Dance Studio's First Parade!!

We put the studio in the Cedar Hills Parade and the Highland Parade. The kids were great. The breakdance boys really sold it to the parade goers and the little ones threw candy. Except for Liv, who quietly sat and ate probably 50 laffy taffy's!

Staley's and Mommy's first Rodeo!
We went to the Lehi Roundup Rodeo with Jimmy's family. We all put on our cowboy gear, ate nachos and hamburgers and enjoyed watching the bull riders.
